Dental Website Design Cost in India (2026): What You Should Actually Pay
Quotes for the same dental website in India range from ₹8,000 to ₹2,50,000. Here is what actually separates them, and what you should pay for a clinic your size.
Why the quotes you receive vary by 30x
If you ask five providers in India to quote for a dental clinic website, you will get numbers between roughly ₹8,000 and ₹2,50,000. That spread is not because one designer is thirty times more talented. It is because the word "website" is being used to describe five completely different products.
At the bottom of the range, you are buying a template with your logo and phone number inserted. Three or four pages, a stock photo of a smiling model, no keyword research, no Google Business Profile work, no measurement. It exists, and that is roughly the extent of what it does.
At the top of the range, you are buying a strategic asset: a page for every treatment you want to grow, local SEO across your city, real booking infrastructure, review systems, tracking, and someone accountable for whether enquiries actually increase.
The mistake clinics make is comparing on price alone, because on a quotation sheet those two things look like the same line item.
The four price tiers in India, honestly described
₹5,000 to ₹15,000 — freelance template work. You get a site online. Typically WordPress with a purchased theme, three to five pages, generic copy, no keyword research. It will usually be secure and mobile-responsive — those basics are solved in 2026 — but it will have no treatment pages and often no WhatsApp link. Reasonable if you genuinely just need an address on the internet. Not reasonable if you expect patients from it.
₹15,000 to ₹50,000 — the productive middle. Custom design, mobile-first build, treatment-level pages, Google Business Profile setup, basic local SEO, WhatsApp integration and tracking. This is where the return on investment is highest for the vast majority of Indian clinics, and it is where our own packages sit deliberately.
₹50,000 to ₹1,00,000 — multi-location and specialist. Real online booking with calendar slots, payment collection, multiple location pages, deeper content programmes, advanced schema, ongoing content production. Justified when you have more than one location or a specialist practice with high treatment values.
₹1,00,000 to ₹2,50,000+ — full agency engagement. Brand identity, photography and video production, extensive content libraries, and usually a monthly retainer attached. Sometimes worth it for large chains. Frequently, for a single clinic, it is paying for account management layers rather than results.
What actually drives the price up
Clinic owners assume visual design is the expensive part. It is usually the cheapest part. The real cost drivers are:
Page count. Ten treatment pages take roughly ten times the research, writing and optimisation of one combined services page. They also let you rank for ten keyword clusters instead of one, which is precisely why they cost more and pay back more.
SEO depth. Keyword research, competitor gap analysis, citation building, schema markup and Search Console setup are labour, not software. This is the single biggest line item in any honest quotation.
Booking systems. Calendar logic, confirmations, reminders and payment gateways are real engineering with real integration work.
Content and language. Copywriting is included in serious quotes. Bilingual content roughly doubles the writing effort.
The recurring costs nobody mentions upfront
The build fee is the visible number. The invisible ones matter just as much over three years.
Domain renewal: roughly ₹700 to ₹1,200 a year for a .in or .com.
Hosting: ₹2,000 to ₹8,000 a year on shared hosting, or effectively zero on modern edge platforms where static sites are served free at clinic-scale traffic.
Edits: this is the trap. Many providers charge ₹500 to ₹2,000 per small change. A clinic making six changes a year quietly pays ₹12,000 it never budgeted for. Always ask what an edit costs before you sign.
Maintenance: WordPress sites need plugin and security updates. Skipped updates are the most common cause of a clinic site being hacked and delisted by Google. Budget for it, or build on something that does not need it.
How to judge a quotation in five minutes
Ask these five questions and the weak quotes fall apart immediately.
How many pages, and which treatments get their own page? A vague answer means no keyword research was done.
What mobile PageSpeed score will the finished site hit? Anyone who cannot name a target number has not thought about speed.
Is Google Business Profile setup included? If not, the highest-return item in local dental marketing is being left on the table.
Who owns the domain and hosting accounts? The correct answer is you, registered in your name. Anything else is a hostage arrangement.
What does an edit cost after launch? Get the number in writing.
What we charge, and why
We publish our prices because refusing to is a negotiating tactic, not a business necessity. Starter Clinic is ₹14,999 for a 5-page site with Business Profile setup and 30 days of free edits. Growth Practice is ₹29,999 for twelve pages including treatment-level pages, full local SEO and a review system. Authority Clinic is ₹49,999 with real online booking and multi-location support.
Domain and first-year hosting are inside those numbers. You own everything. There is no compulsory retainer.
The honest framing is this: a single dental implant case in most Indian cities is worth ₹25,000 to ₹60,000. If a website brings one additional implant patient in its first year, the ₹29,999 package has paid for itself with room to spare. That is the calculation worth making — not which quote has the smallest number on it.
